Judy
from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa writes:
Our holiday
picture wouldn't be complete without Sabrina. She has
become a HUGE part of our lives. Our entire family
absolutely adores her. She loves to play tug of war with
her rope toy and retrieves the ball for us. She does not
shed and was very easy to house train. Everynight she
goes to each bedroom to lay awile with the boys before
going to her own bed. We love to see the boys watching
"Pokemon" on TV with Sabrina laying in the
middle. We think she is a wonderful, perfect house dog.

"I named my wheaten "Whiskers Magoo" and
she is truly a joy to have around. She has a wonderful
disposition, is very protective, and has a unique
personality. She has a playmate, Molly, a cocker spaniel
who is also pictured. After a short "adjustment
period" they get along just great. I named her
Whiskers Magoo because of the distinctive black whiskers
against her blonde face. She truly loves the outdoors
and is very obedient."

"I
have had several different dogs in my lifetime. Walker,
my wheaten, has been the best friend of mine. He is
always full of energy waiting for me with his
tail-a-waggin’. This happy dog makes everyone he meets
smile and comment on what a wonderful dog he is."

"This is Shelby, our wheaten purchased from you,
Shelby came into our lives on February, 1997 and I am
unable to think of life without her. She has brought a
tremendous amount of love into our lives. Wheatens are
WONDERFUL companions, and extremely good with children.

Beth
from California writes:
"Here is a picture of our new heartthrob,
Reilly." "He’s growing fast and his coat is
getting lighter. You get the idea, though, of just how
darling he is." "We think he’s gorgeous and
can’t believe his dark coat will completely change to
blond by the time he’s full grown. For now, he has the
opposite situation of most of the world - dark hair with
blond roots!!" "He is sleeping 6-8 consecutive
hours at night (not counting his evening nap in the
family room with his sleeping companion, my husband,
Bill), while my son is his favorite toy."
"Though we don’t allow him on the stairs yet, I
gave him a shot at them last week and he did slowly
creep up them. Knowing he was capable, I was going to
try it again the next day when I had some laundry to
carry up, knowing I could catch him if he slipped.
Unfortunately, my timing was off and I tried it during
one of Reilly’s "Wild Dog" moments. Instead
of slowly climbing, he tried to bolt up the stairs two
at a time. The problem occurred because Reilly’s
current bolting range is only about one and a half
stairs, so it was jump up, slide back, jump up, slide
back. Not very safe or efficient, so we’re saving
stairs for another month or so." "What a kick
it is to have him."

Kaye
from Indiana writes:
"Bailey
is just a delight! He has a wonderful, warm disposition
and is so funny. He loves to have his tummy rubbed. He’s
an ice cube cruncher and loves to tease our cat but
never hurts her. I could go on and on about how great he
is. He’s a big boy, 41 pounds, and gets along great
with our female."

Pictured are owners Kaye (left) and Vicki (right)
enjoying their beloved wheatens, Bailey (left) and Sandy
(center), purchased from Belknap’s Wheaten Terriers in
1997. Both dogs also get along very well with Molly
(wheaten on far right).
